FAQs - CONTACT MAIN BOOK SUBMISSON
Q.If I have more than three images on my page, will I avoid paying for extra digital images if I supply my page as one image file?
A.Yes, however your page will have to treat the page as one image if we need to colour correct it, i.e. if one area is too warm while the rest is okay, we would be unable to correct specific areas without affecting the whole page. Please note that the ‘image files’ we are referring to are formats such as tiffs, EPS, jpegs etc. QuarkXpress documents with separate image files do not count as a composite image and you will be liable for extra charges if you have more than the allowed number of images. NB No photographic work is accepted in Adobe Illustrator. (Full details are in the Technical Information.)
Q.What happens if I want to change my page during proofing?
A.If you find that we have made errors to your submitted text/layout at proofing no charge will be made, but you could face a charge for changes (details within Technical Information). Once you have returned your proof or informed us of an amendments/corrections necessary we will alter your text/layout and send either via fax, email or via post. Further changes will automatically incur a charge (i.e. if at 2nd colour proof stage you wish to add a caption to your page it will be charged for).
